When a gas monitor is received into Industrial Scientific’s repair shop, it is given an evaluation that includes checking the unit’s reference voltages as well as sensor span sensitivities. This is the only way to ensure a problem will not go undetected.

Over time, technology shows us better ways to do things. Our commitment to you is to is to have your gas monitor performing at its peak after being serviced. This is accomplished by incorporating engineering enhancements to each instrument we service. Factory service ensures these units receive the latest software changes and electronic and mechanical updates.

Calibration is the cornerstone of any gas monitoring program. All of the calibration gas used in our Service Department is fully traceable to the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) standards which is your assurance of high quality. Along with this, every gas monitor repaired receives a certificate of calibration which documents sensor span sensitivities and alarm settings.

Once you approve a repair estimate, the price is locked in. If during the repair process we find a component to be defective, we replace it at no additional cost to you.

Our gas monitors are designed to protect people’s lives. When maintenance becomes necessary we take the process very seriously. Our technicians take personal ownership of their repair work; you will always receive a repair tag stating the Technician’s name and telephone extension number.

When a gas monitor is serviced by Industrial Scientific, the replaced parts receive a full one year warranty and any associated labor is guaranteed for six months.
