The
iTX and VX500 Charger/Datalink
accessories provide the
ability to charge the
lithium-ion battery packs in
5 hours or less (in or out
of the instrument) and serve
as the instruments’
communication link to a
personal computer. The
chargers are available with
or without the datalogging
kit, which allows users to
download hygiene data. The
VX500 Charger/Datalink also
includes the PID lamp
conditioner to ensure that a
spare lamp is ready to use
when needed. Replaceable
cell alkaline battery packs
provide back-up power in
emergency situations.
Single-unit and 6-unit
compact chargers (not shown)
are also available for the
iTX monitors in your choice
of voltage options. |

hours or less
(depending on the
state of the
batteries).These
dual rate chargers
are complete Ni-Cad
battery management
systems to
efficiently charge
instruments, pumps
or battery packs
without the worry of
Ni-Cad memory
effects. These
chargers also
feature a battery
discharge mode to
drain batteries
before recharging.
The two and four
unit chargers are
compatible with all
300 and 400 Series
instruments, pumps

Dual
Rate Chargers complete
battery recharging in four
to five hours, then provide
a trickle charge to maintain
full power. Input voltages
of 115 VAC, 240 VAC and 12
VDC are available. Chargers
are available in one, two
and twelve unit
configurations, for use with

as well as 300 and 400

Using additional
charging accessories
from Industrial
Scientific,
instrument operation
can continue
uninterrupted. When
a battery becomes
low,simply replace
it with a spare pack
and continue
monitoring. Or,
utilize a charging
adapter to charge a
300 or 400 Series
battery pack with a
compact charger.
